Probably, but you're not all that close if you're in Meridian.

Starkville is closer than Meridian. They should have plenty of rooms available.

just drive the extra 45 minutes to Birmingham
I realize its on the other side, but its a better option than staying an hour and a half away in Meridian

Birmingham - stayed there for the last game in Tuscalossa, as mentioned, only 45 mins and you have a much better chance of finding osmething decent.

I tried making reservations in February, and all my top choices were already booked. I got a decent spot, but booking less than 2 months out is rough going. Meridian or Birmingham might just be the best option, depending on which direction you are coming from and how much you are into the pre-game and post-game scene.

its also a real city, tons of hotels, restaurants, etc. It adds 45 minutes to your trip home to BR, but its worth it compared to spending a night in Meridian
