I don't think anyone beats Alabama or LSU this year...except LSU or Alabama.

Am I the only one hearing rumors about injuries to Floyd and Easley?
I'm too bashful to start a thread, so I figured I'd ask here...

I like your rumors better than mine. Mine said possible broken ankle for Easley and sprained ankle for Floyd.
I hope none of that is true.
I didn't want to start a thread either because of the Gump fringe saying something about already making excuses.

From AligatorAlley. Have no clue on the rep of the poster, but here it is anyways:

Just talked to my guy that works for the team and is on the training staff. Sounds like the info earlier in the thread is true. Sounds like Floyd hurt his shoulder on Tuesday and should be okay for Saturday. He's banged up but can play. He was a bit more cryptic on Easley but it didn't sound good. Apparently it was a fairly serious ankle injury and they are NOT expecting him to play. He hasn't been officially ruled out yet but the words used were "highly questionable."

Frick. Oh well. Leon Orr will have to just step up and fill in. Omar is due to have a big game too. Here's his chance.

Out of all injuries, shoulder and ankle injuries would seem to effect lineman the worst, right?

Any injury for linemen sucks. The other team (any other team not just Bama) will target the painful area at times.
It's hard to fight off blocks with a hurt shoulder, elbow, knee, ankle, hip, toe, fingers, writsts...you name it.
Someone else has to step up though.
I know Bama wants to beat us full strength.

Not sure. We have the athletes to do it but will they? That's a totally different story.
It we had intercepted Bray 2 or 3 more times we might be believers. Not just yet though.

Right. What was I thinking?

i don't think the tide defense will be able to stop both rainey and demps consistently. unlike previous years' offensive coordinators, charlie weis actually knows how to use these guys effectively. i still have nightmares of addazio stubbornly calling dive play after dive play into the heart of every defense we faced.
