Either the Arky QB or the receiver went brain dead. The ball was thrown no where near the receiver. Nothing Bama did had anything to do with that. Moreover, the ball hit the Bama defender's arm without him even reacting to it, and popped up in the air. All he had to do was make a bread basket catch and stroll into the end zone.
The touchdown was a complete gift. Absolute manna from heaven. It had nothing to do with Bama being a good team on that play.

Just got back in from dinner....and the mid 20 something year olds at the table behind were all over map, so to speak, regarding their predictions for the game. Either UF is going to shock everyone w/ a double digit win, UF wins close, Bama wins close and next year Driscole (sp?) and the UF D are going to be studly and it's their year. The md-20 somethings have only known goodtimes for UF (not that now is a really bad time..even last year) but I don't recall how many times UF hasn't been favored in the Swamp.
My UF coworkers are of the guarded opinion that UF is "Back" - when talking to me though, "Bama wins but UF makes it close" when they are amongst themselves. UF wins and UF is every bit the physical defense with the faster offense, Bama hasn't played anyone (for the most part exactly what has been stated in this thread) or Bama is going to kick UF's ____ Me, I'll take a 1pt win in Gville at night ala a missed extra point and have a coke and smile but I think Bama by a 7 (I took UF and 7.5 in the office pool)

Like I said before, Bama looked good, but I thought it was a combination of things.
Let's just leave it at this. Watching the game didn't make me feel any better about having to go play there on Nov 5th. How's that?
