I see he's coming in at a sultry 64% completion rate playing the likes of Kent State, PSU and North Texas...

Has he ever had to play in any type of situation? Can he move the chains on 3rd down with his arm? Can he avoid the sacks he's gotten so far against lesser competition?

I'm curious what he does when when we go from 4-3 to 3-4 in the same series...Does he check out of plays himself?

Magic 8-ball saaaaays....

He'll do alright. You can't expect us to know the answers to all those specific questions you asked, but we'll find out soon enough.

I believe that Saban will open up the offense this weekend and there will be some things that Arky wont be expecting.

I hope that the O-line has gotten better and they will be able to protect him more but I dont see Saban calling a lot of deep passes. Saban will want to keep the offense on the field as much as possible and keep the ball moving with Trent and Lacy and also with some short passes by McCarron.

The more rested the defense can stay I believe it will be easier for them to stop the Arky offense.

No, Never.

They have guys at Bryant Denny that do that for him. Ya'll probably aren't use to such luxuries.

Bet he has NEVER seen that before.

No, the coaches decide when he can take the bench because the game is in hand.

On passing plays, AJ just needs to worry about 2 things: Tramain Thomas and Jerico Nelson. He needs to make sure Nelson isn't coming on a blitz, and he needs to throw away from them when possible if they are playing the middle of the field and trying to read where he's going with the ball. Both Thomas and Nelson are great at reading the QB and jumping into passing lanes.

If McCarron is able to find one on one matchups against our CB's down the field, he should be able to put up some decent numbers.

Well, we were down 24-0 halfway through the 2nd quarter. We're usually more balanced in our offense, but down 4 scores you tend to throw more.
