Croom took your program to a bowl game, which is nearly unheard of in msu history. Croom brought in better talent than the current coaching staff. If croom would have thrown around the same garbage Mullins does, like winning national championships, sec titles after msu's 8 win season, he would have been a god.
Mullins has one very very average 9 win season. Crooms had an average 8 win season. Why is there a difference? Is it because the kids will run through a wall for Dan?

Miss St. have been to 6 bowl games. Croom took them to 1.

wrong

Because Mullen has yet to lose:
8 games, 8 games, 9 games, 8 games.

Leach was in Jackson, ms for a book signing yesterday. Maybe he can swing by Oxford and take over

Bobby Moore calling someone original.
I think you're as obsessed with Ole Miss as you claim Ole Miss fans are with state.

Rebman, you are an idiot. This is only Mullen's 3rd year and he's created more excitement for MSU than Croom ever did. He's got them to a competitive level in a short time. He's recruiting better as well especially at the skill positions. If he stays there 5-6 years, they will be really good. Thing is, Ole Miss ain't worth shite. They are so far behind MSU right now that you can't compare the two. MSU does own the state and the longer Ole Miss keeps Nutt, it will only get worse.

MSU is clearly the better team right now, but I don't think they are as far apart as you say. Ole Miss has talent and State can't afford to slip up this year. They have to keep the momentum going because it could be gone in a season.

This thread is anchored.
Couldn't have happened to a better poster.

Agreed.
I thought maybe I could legitimize it with some actual discussion.

So the main difference between crooms and Dan is the excitement? So if crooms would have ran his mouth about winning national titles then there would have been excitement? Don't tell me the play is much different because crooms won bigger games than Dan has. Crooms best season was just as good as dans best season.
Call it a flame or whatever you want but there doesn't appear to be much difference in where the program is now over when crooms was there, other than the "excitement" of course..

Quite intreresting that you should bring up recruiting because with the abortion that is developing in Oxford you couldn't pay a player to go there next year. You don't think that every coach in MS is telling their best players to stay as far away from your poison as possible. Your administration is a cancer on your whole school. You are in multi-organ(ization) system failure. You won't have 20,000 show up this weekend to watch UGA destroy you. You have sects outside your university trying to wrestle control over your current administration. You are currently one of the laughing stocks of the NCAA. You have a lot of stuff you should be worried about right now besides a Mullen vs Croom thread. We all know you are flaming, but honestly, if my program was in the shitter like yours is I would be spending my free time at the Tote Sum store on your boss's computer with a dictionary and an English book trying to type letters to Dan Jones.

You should probably hold off on all this. This is Dan's third year. It's not really a fair point of comparison yet.

Why are you bringing up ole miss? Everybody knows they are in bad shape, I'm not arguing that. I'm pointing out that your "god" of a coach isn't doing any better than one of the worst coaches in sec history according to some of you msu fans (crooms status as a coach).

If you actually believe this I am very sorry for ever saying anythingugly about you. It is obvious that you are a retard and you don't know any better. I hope Whitfield is treating you well and you have plenty to eat. I always support the State Department of Mental Health every Christmas by going to by trinkets that y'all make. Maybe I will see you there this Christmas. God Bless...
