Not really SEC related but what do you guys think?

South Alabama is undefeated and looking to be a full D-1 team next season.

This is by far their biggest test in their young football's career.

I live in Mobile and it is pretty impressive with what they have accomplished thus far.

They are avg 25,000-30,000 per home game playing shite teams.

I would love to see them handle NC State but to them NC State is big boy football and I think they are going to get their asses handed to them.

I think around 500,000-600,000? I am not really sure because I just moved here from Miami.

One thing though... their game last weekend was at 4:00 - after the AU game and during the Alabama game and there were still 27,000+ there.

Fans here are VERY dedicated to the program which is awesome to see.

Unlike me.. I was not going to miss the Bama game to go down and watch the South Alabama game. I am sure there are lots of others like me. There is a big time local fan base though and it is great to see that for USA.

Metropolitan Mobile has a population of 412,992[1] within Mobile County Alabama in the southwestern tip of Alabama. The Mobile metropolitan area is the third-largest metropolitan area in the state of Alabama. The Mobile–Daphne–Fairhope combined statistical area also includes the micro but separate Baldwin County metro, with a population of 182,265. The total Mobile–Daphne–Fairhope CSA is 595,257.

Well, it is kind of hard to tell because they do not even count Mississippi which should be another 50k. Actually, I think around 700k is safe to say the population of Metro Mobile.. The place is growing like crazy

Yeah, they will lose and probably by a large margin but its only the third year they have been in existence. This area has always been full of talent, sure most of the big names end up at Alabama or Auburn but they should continue to snag some good classes.

Why is Boise State / Toledo in here?

In fact, more people have more knowledge about South Alabama then they do Toledo which is why I posted the question and specifically said "Not really SEC related but what do you guys think?"

I don't know about you but I learned how to read by the 5th grade.

BJ Scott and Demetre Baker formerly played in the SEC for Bama and UGA respectively.

BOOM, now it's SEC related...

Well, considering that I am half retarded, have no arms from an accident when I was 2 years old and deaf.. I would say YES, it did.

It's a Mobile thing.

Go Jags! It would be huge if we beat NC State, but I don't think it will even be close.

You're not supposed to start non-sec threads on the sec board. There is a board called the "More Sports Board." Please learn how to use it. TIA
