Are any of you SEC Rant LSU fans concerned about a leader of the team being suspended for violation of team rules? I know he will be back for the MSU game. But that now makes 2 of the 3 players taken by Les to SEC Media Days dealing with some issue...and Baker was only there because Shepherd was going through his stuff..

No, as I don't suit up for the games. I'm confident that some of the tackles that occur in the games would put me in ICU.

I made one a while back that talked about the lack of leadership and how it affected the 2010 UA team. Most of the LSU fans spoke of Baker as the guy who was going to step up and be the "on the field" coach....I guess him being suspended for violating team rules is not a biggie..

IDK what the suspension was for, but Baker was going to be at media days regardless of shepard. Tbob is who was in Shepard's place.
Am I concerned? yeah, players have to be smarter and lead by example.
Had Shepard gone all 3 LSU players that were at media days would have been suspended tonight.

I would only be concerned if it was not being addressed.

My bad. So that means that all three individuals picked by Les Miles to go to SEC Media Days are dealing with some type of suspension.

Do you think there are any long term implications as it relates to on the field stuff?

Shouldn't you be more concerned with teaching the tide how to cover a reverse?

Jefferson, Baker, and T-Bob were the 3 at media days
Jefferson, Johns, Baker, and Shepard were suspended tonight.

The fact that a player picked by Miles to go to Media Days violates team rules, after the Shady situation, isn't disconcerting at all?

Feel free to start a thread about it. This thread is about something else.

No, not concerned. He probably just broke curfew b/c he chose to party instead of preparing for NW St. Just guessing.
