State. Could be epic.
Nah - just the 10 or so idiots here that you all equate to the "State fan base". Most rational State fans that I know and talk to are cautiously optimistic.

You're ruining this thread by using logic, you know that right?

Which is the whole reason you started this thread, right?

You are obsessed with Alabama.

This is not a flame, but why are yall so confident? AU just barely beat Utah State. You really think AU is for certain going to beat MSU?

They always do.

States big game is Thursday night vs LSU.

Bama fans are cheering for Penn State this weekend.

They will be stoked about a Penn State victory.

What I anticipate out of tomorrow:

Ole Miss fans start an early panic when they fall behind SIU; Arkansas fans pile on in mirth. State fans pop up to say 'Grindin? Grindin! Grind grind grinding!'; eventually, Ole Miss figures out that it's players are 3 inches and 40 pounds bigger than SIU, and they'll eek out an ugly win. The OMers will pray silently that Auburn grinds State, just so someone, anyone, will take more flack than they do this week.

Alabama slowly but steadily separates from Penn State, to the tune of a 28-3 type win; the Rant is bombarded by concerned Crimson Tide fans who wonder what was so wrong with the defense as to give up 5 yards rushing on the day. Auburn fans drink heavily when they read this complaint.

State gets it's grind on early, jumping out ahead of Auburn by 10; State fans start grinding on anything that will move, including the neighbor's cat-- but Auburn dips back into the bag of tricks and points yanked directly from their colon, and wins in triple overtime. LSU fans mock mercilessly; Auburn fans express relief at beating state--- but stay away from saying there are big things down the road for Auburn, lest they end up looking like State fans; Ole Miss fans rejoice in winning their party and losing the 'Worst September Collapse' award.

LSU and Arkansas both score more points than their basketball teams would, when faced by the same opponent.

At least, that's my knee jerk opinion on it.
