What is your favorite road trip to make for an away game. I'm sure everyone has different ones for various reasons. Just curious what other fans think.

Mine is Tennessee. Probably because it only happens every 5 years, the fans are never a problem, and the area around Knoxville is enjoyable to make a trip out of.

My least favorite is a tie between Miss St and USC. Starkville just isn't fun to drive to and the campus is boring as hell on gamedays outside of the LSU areas. The stadium is terrible as well which just makes it hard for anyone to get excited about. USC would be better if the stadium was on campus I think. Columbia isn't much to look at and the area around the stadium sucks. It reminds me of the old Bama games at Legion Field. The fans aren't bad there but they do have some weird sense of confidence that is hard to understand.

My favorite is LSU, just sucks we only go there every 5 years. Auburn is not too bad, their people (for the most part) are pretty cool and enjoy hanging out with alot of the UGA fans I travel with for away games.

I would agree with your thoughts about Columbia but we did have a good time there nonetheless. Found some great USC fans to do a combo tailgate with. Next time we play there you should consider a couple nights in Charleston then drive to Columbia. Great city and great grits.

I would love to go Charleston and I think I might do that next time. How far is it from there?

I don't do road trips anymore.

But, back in the day, I greatly enjoyed tripping to Knoxville and Neyland.

Favorite: LSU (I am an expert at dodging piss bombs, so I have never had a problem.)

Nashville is a close second. It is like a home game and I like the bars.

Least: MSU (This seems to be a popular choice for least, and for good reason.)

LSU, the atmosphere is second to none. Every other year when they play Bama in Tuscaloosa I still make a trip to an LSU game. This year I'm going to the Florida game.

Bama hands down. Great fans, good food and alot of history with that matchup.
