this summer? I want to hear about some of the new guys I need to look out for this season so I can feel like an informed fan. Post whatever you can about the player (video, pictures, profile, stats) and let me know why I need to look out for him. Give me an offensive and defensive player.
For Auburn, I've already mentioned him but I have to do it again:
Offense
Freshman RB: Tre Mason #21 (number has been changed since picture)
Highlight reel from high school
This kid has been scoring TD's like crazy in scrimmage and everyone is having a hard time tackling him. He's got a great build but is still somehow fast as hell. RB Coach Curtis Luper was quoted last night as saying that Tre is, "Onterio McCalebb fast. Onterio might dispute that, (laughs) but he is." I look for this kid to contribute from game 1.
Defense
Freshman CB: Robenson Therezie #27
Highlight reel from high school
Apparently, this kid has kept his head-hunting nature from his high school days. DB Coach Tommy Thigpen has been quoted as saying that Robenson Therezie is, "everything you look for" in a corner and will set the model" for Auburn CB's. A lot of comparisons are being made to former Auburn CB Carlos Rogers.
*Disclaimer: I know that these are freshman, but that's the point of this thread. Inform us of guys we don't already know about on your team. All of this is subjective and obviously we won't know how good they are until they play this season, so save the "homer" comments.*

You forgot about Florence.

No, I didn't. I just needed to decide between the two and people know about Florence. Feel free to give a rundown for everyone, though.

Malcolm Mitchell is a true freshman who will get a shite ton of PT including the first game. He has been the most surprising player in camp. He was the #1 rated CB in the country but we started out at WR and based on his play he'll stay there.
Jarvis Jones at OLB, who transferred from USC after playing there and starting as a true freshman.

Can we count Duron Carter? His not practicing seems to be a daily topic. BTW......what seems to be the hold up with him?

Sounds good. Any video from practice or pictures or stats or anything?

Enrique Florence has been singled out by Roof and given high praise as well.

Phillip Sims, eh? Do you think he has any chance at starting?
Posted on 8/17/11 at 11:34 am to rbWarEagle
Michael Bockers- big 6'5 300 lb'r DT
Odell Beckham JR- 6'0 True freshman WR.
Excellent hands and a legacy.
Jefferson - he changed. He's good now.

I thought this quote was in reference to Florence? I think I read it on scout.

I think he will be the eventual starter, yeah.
