I'm going to go (not very far) out on a limb and say that 98% of all circumstantial evidence-only cases still result in the defendant being found guilty. Juries fricking love to send someone to prison.
That's less true in extremely high profile cases... but, by and large, if you are on trial you are most likely fricked.

In those cases the Jurors are just as money hungry as the criminals and rule in a way to get media attention. No matter what the evidence is. So I guess it might be better for everyone to expect you to be found guilty.

The percentage of guilty verdicts based heavily on circumstantial evidence has gone down drastically in the last 10 years. It's a frightening statistic. Wish I could find an article on it but I'm on my phone.
