Arky fans, as a State fan, I can understand the frustration of constantly hearing that your coach "can't recruit." I think Petrino is a great coach and you all definitely have reason to be optimistic. I would not be too worried about what recruiting services say about your talent when you are going to BCS bowl games.
I have learned that you will never win an argument about recruiting rankings, which is completely absurd to me. Look at Bama's '09 championship team. They had their fair share of 5 stars, but a lot of their difference makers were rated lower than 5 stars (Dareus (3 stars), Ingram (3 or 4 star), McElroy (3 stars). Heck, Ron Zook could land 5 stars, but we all know how his teams have historically performed.
I think Ark. has a lot of great momentum and should have really good teams for the foreseeable future, 5 stars or not.

This is a horrible comparison. That team was stacked with several high-star talent. Not saying there wasn't any good 3-star level talent, but you're kidding yourself if you don't believe they didn't have numerous 4 and 5-star players on that team.
