I think LSU (the fanbase, hopefully not the team) is really underestimating how good Oregon can be.

I am an LSU fan and I agree with this

I think a lot of people are underestimating the impact of losing all those starters will have for Oregon, especially in the first game. They lose half of their starting lineup. That ranks 91st in the country as far as returning starters are concerned. Info complements of Phil Steele
Auburn ranks last in this category by the way

All of these teams weighing in on how LSU will be doing in the first week better be careful about their first games. Does anyone remember Jacksonville State last year? I know everyone wants to believe that they are better than Ole Miss and it could never happen to them. Well, stop believing it. Utah State CAN beat Auburn. Miss. State could lose on the road at Memphis. Ole Miss is playing a tough first game against BYU.

Just because Arkansas is playing such an incredibly lame first game against Missouri State, then following it up with another incredibly lame game against New Mexico and then finally playing a team with a pulse like Troy doesn't mean you should be proud. As a matter of fact, if Arkansas is 3-0 and LSU is 1-2, that would prove absolutely nothing other than Arkansas' first three games SUCK!!!!

Oh, and Saban will NOT be losing to his alma mater.

I think Oregon is probably going to win as well. Miles never gets truly blown out, so I think it will be close.

This is my concern, LSU has not been good at defending the spread. Auburn ran at will last year. Granted, Cam Newton is freak of nature, but he did to LSU what he couldn't do to others.

I think, as I sit here today, that LSU loses a close one (like 31-28) to Oregon. However, I am a noted pessimist on this board and have been proven wrong many times in predicting sports outcomes.

I do think LSU could run the table until the Bama game, which always seems to be a barnburner. Hell, it is not inconceivable that LSU loses to Oregon and then runs the table and plays for the national title.

Oregon has a very young and talented team. Only 11 seniors. LSU has more experience and should be able to put up enough points to win.

LSU 27
Oregon 18

To go along with the freak that is Cam, that o-line was straight up dominant. No way Oregon's o-line makes us look that silly. Well, at least I hope not because that shite was embarrassing.

Did you see how much bigger Auburn's players were on average than Oregon's players? All of Auburn's players were just as fast if not faster than Oregon's players on average despite them being bigger. Auburn was a 12-0 SEC champ, led by one of the greatest college football players of all time, yet Oregon lost by only 3 points.

LSU's D is much much better than Auburn's who completely manhandled Oregon. If Auburn had a secondary Oregon wouldn't have even been in that game. LSU has the front 7 and the secondary and the depth to keep up for 4 quarters IMHO.

LSU is going to arse rape the ducks. It wont even be close, 44-10 tigers.

Moffit has these boys chomping at the bit, they thought AU's D was fast, they will shite their pants when they feel our pass rush suffocating their inexpierianced and pathetic oline. Their puny AA qb and runing back will go down like Noel Devine.

Our oline will manhandle their undersized dline, and I cant wait to see their punk half pint wr's to get thunderstruck over the middle. This feels bigger then all the bowl games we have played since Ohio state, this is VA tech all over again. They are healthy and fricking loaded. Ware/shep/randle/ford is going to bitch that D with massive holes opened up by our oline.

JJ runs for a bill and passes for three.

Oregon will be broken and maimed for the rest of their pathetic season. They will lose 3 more games.

And bet your arse they will be scared, they will have the charlie weis look before we curb stomped his pathetic Irish joke o a team.

We will drag them through a pool of blood and devastation.

cam was one man and they stoped him. Bama put the blueprint in the first half of the iron bowl, we will be very multiple with the threat of a running qb. Not to mention no one has seen our offense yet, another advantage. Peterson at TE will shine as well. To many weapons

Truth hurts huh? Just because you don't believe it, it doesn't make it any less true.

Real mature you are calling names on a Internet message board. You are only proving and stating what you really are.

LSU under Miles is 6-0 in opening games. Although Oregon is the best team LSU will open with under Les, the fact that LSU invariably wins and Oregon invariably loses with extra time to prepare gives me confidence.

LSU 32 UO 9.
