WTF? dude used quotes from Bama players as proof they weren't getting illegal benefits

I used AU players as an example of just because they say they weren't paid doesn't mean they weren't paid. Hence the rolling eyes emoticon

Well, if Auburn had pictures of players going to Country Crossings, and then rumors surfaced that they were getting bundles of poker chips to cash in, so they decided to send McGregor a cease and desist letter and then a disassociation letter with the University, I could see that Alabama fans would still think him guilty, but I could also see that Auburn tried to cover their back and do what they could to cover themselves in case things look suspicious. I would feel more comfortable as an Auburn fan that my University at least seemed to do something proactive.

But to your point, I think opposing schools will always assume the other guilty.

This is an acceptable answer only at the University of Alabama, I take it?

And yet again, the spoke with the SEC. So not only university but the conference believes there is no wrong doing... Not impossible to assume the contacted the NCAA to get an opinion.

Well I feel uneasy about this Disassociation letter. There may not be any wrong doing but from where I am sitting it looks like something is not right. Just one mans opinion

Well, one has a link with quotes, and the other is conjecture.

But since everyone lies these days, we should all pack things up and call it an apocalypse.

Yeah, the SEC said Cam was clear at Auburn, too. It was all discussed with the SEC prior to the season beginning. Is that good enough for you?

Huh, what?? during the Cam stuff the SEC was corrupt and slive needed to go b/c he was protecting AU

Now the SEC is legit

So according to bammers, when AU/SEC no wrongdoing in Cam stuff, it was a lie

But now, Bama/SEC says no wrong doing and bammers are

Well, if I find out that Julio's dad admitting to shopping his son, I might not be so sure it's all OK.

With the information they had at the time, sure they agreed. It all changed with people at MSU started talking and then Cecil admitted it
