I'll start:

Best:
Tebow to UF over Bama
Cam to Auburn over State
Trey DePriest to Bama over Ohio St

Worst:
Mitch Mustain to Arkansas and subsequent transfer to USC.

I'm willing to throw out Damian Williams to Arkansas at the time. Why any elite WR would have committed to Arkansas at that point in time was beyond me. He saw through the bill of goods that he had been sold so quick that he quit the team right after the SEC championship game and before the bowl game.

How do you know he wouldn't have won just as big at bama? Bama still had a hell of a program during Tebow's tenure. I would think a worse type decision for this thread is when they chose the school that did much worse than another.

One example for me would be Jabari Davis. When he went to UT he cited it as a "business" decision because "Tennessee plays for championships and Georgia plays for Peach Bowls".

Georgia- 2 east titles/1 SEC title/1 BCS win
J.Davis- 0-2 in peach bowls

Pending violations, still behind LaMichael James and Barner, Chip Kelly could be fired, etc.. There's a lot of unknowns, but I know he's wishing he was at Auburn right about now.

Too many to list, a couple that come to mind

Worst
Gerald Wallace choosing Bama over NBA or other major CBB program.

Best
Arenas choosing Bama over the small school offers and then not quitting the team.

Im glad he went to florida

If tebow would have came to bama, we would have had a better season, shula would not have been fired, we would not have gotten saban.

So It was best for both school IMO

On a side note, I'm watching the USCe vs Auburn game from September '10, and before Cam Newton, noone ever gave me chill bumps every time they touched the ball. This guy was just flat out amazing.

He would have saved Mike Shula's job and perpetuated our mediocrity.

Ok....but that has more to do with the success of bama as a program, not if it was a good decision on Tebow's part or not.
