You need to crawfish the hell out of that bet. I work in Searcy with some of his family. There are some folks looking to get paid, and soon. FYI

Here's what I think happens.

Gone: Nimmo, Fulmer
Stays: Howard, Bird

Well, considering he took himself out of the 1st round purposely, I like our chances.

Two years of coaching = Top 10 pick in 2013.

Exactly. I'm not saying the kid doesn't want to come to Arkansas but there is going to be ALOT of pressure put on him to take the money and run.

Scott Boras won't let that happen. He's going to let his family know he will make several millions more in two years.

Where is that coming from? I've never heard he purposely took himself out. I can tell you this, everyone expected him to tote the rock in the championship game last year, and he didn't want it. Lots of people wondering WTF when that happened. Then by all accounts, blew the championship game this year. Don't tell me he did that on purpose. If you believe that, why would you want him for the Hogs?

I have nothing against the kid, and wish the best for him whatever he does, but he is suspect under pressure.

I think he means that Howard took himself out by telling people (scouts) he was going to Arkansas. Not that he threw games on purpose to drop his stock.

I anything about that.

Just know he told teams interested a extremely high figure to get them to pass.

Only reason he didn't fall farther is because he is a rare talent. Indians are taking a chance, maybe they can get him to sign, who knows.

If you're ever wasting time in Searcy, find Harriman Athletic and take a look at the catchers mask he bent with a 95+ mph fastball. IDK if they still have it, but it was from when he was a junior.

Nobody purposefully tries to back out of millions of dollars.

Good news in all of this, 2 of our top 6 signees are not going to sign if they're drafted at all. Both have let it be known they're coming to Arkansas.

SS Drake Roberts and DH/1B Michael Gunn, both rated 10.0 on Perfect Game.

I'll say it again..

Most likely to sign: Nimmo, Fulmer

Good possibility to stay: Howard(read back and you'll see why), and Bird.

Serrano is a unknown in regards to whether he'll sign.

Had Trent Daniel been drafted? That guy is a fricking tool. Hope he never pitches for the hogs again.

I saw what you said and have never seen that much blind homeism in one post. You didn't have a sigle rational thought and your reason for him not going in the first is because he purposely took himself out? Are you seriously that naive?

1. No one would deny themselves a chance at millions. Especially if a team like the Yankees or red sox draft you.
2. players use the " I'm going to college" to boost their contract terms.
3. You is dumb
