TTsTowel's Prediction for Auburn's 2011 Season

I should really wait until after the Utah State game to do this, but I just want to get it out of the way. Last season I predicted Auburn to go 10-3 after a bowl win, and we ended up becoming the National Champs and going 14-0. Surprised the Hell out of me. We obviously lost a lot of players to the Draft, graduation, and to the Law. But, we have been a recruiting machine over the past 2 years, and are again this season. Well, here it goes:
Full Schedule and Results
Game 1 Utah State: Win
Game 2 Mississippi State: Toss-up
Game 3 Clemson: Win
Game 4 Florida Atlantic: Win
Game 5 South Carolina: Toss-up
Game 6 Arkansas: Loss
Game 7 Florida: Toss-up
Game 8 LSU: Loss
Game 9 Ole Miss: Win
Game 10 Georgia: Win
Game 11 Samford: Win
Game 12 'Bama: Loss
That's 6 wins for sure, 3 loses for sure, with 3 toss-ups. Of the toss-ups, I am leaning towards us winning 1 of them, with a low possibility of 2.. I think we win 7 games during the regular season, and take the opposing bowl team to the shed SEC style. Hopefully it'll be a manslaughter, like what Michigan State was forced to endure.
Positional Information
Quarterback: Barrett Trotter or Kiehl Frazier will be the QB for this season. If it is Trotter, his stats at the end of the season will look a lot like Chris Todd's did in 2009. He's a tad bit smaller, but has a stronger arm and is much more mobile. he's not Cam Newton mobile, but he is a lot like the South Carolina back-up QB, with a little less speed.
Running Back: We will be good here, depending on how the offensive line plays. We have one of the best RB duos in the SEC, and nation. O-Mac will be O-Mac, but he is about 10 pounds heavier this season. He still has all of his speed, which is a legit 4.27. Michael Dyer will be the workhorse. He will get his this season, you can bet that. He will also be our goal-line back. Tre Mason, if he qualifies, will spell Dyer. He won't be used in O-Mac's role. Other than that, we're pretty thin. LaDarius "Big Sexy" Phillips may get to carry the rock a little bit..
Wide Receivers: We return Emory Blake, DeAngelo Benton, Q. Carr, and have Trovon Reed who will come in and start in the slot. Lutz will spread out to Kodi Burns old spot last season. The Freshman to watch this season is Sammie Coates. We will be very solid..
Offensive Line: Personally, I think we should go young and get them ready for the future.. That's just me. Only 3 spots are given, and that's Brandon Moseley, AJ Green, and Reese Dismukes.. We won't be as bad as everyone thinks, but we won't be as good as last year. They will be very good in the future.
Defensive Line: This is quite possibly the fastest set of defensive lineman that Auburn has ever had. Corey Lemonier, Craig Sanders, Nosa Equae, and Dee Ford lead the way. They will be terror this season.. At DT, It'll be Jeff Whitaker, Gabe Wright, a couple more Freshman, and Ken Carter leading the way. Some DEs will also mesh into the DT position.. They will be damn good.
Linebackers: These scare me a little.. Talent is there, but not experience. The starters will be Eltoro Freeman, Daren Bates, and Jake Holland. LaDarius Owens, John Evans, and hopefully Kris Frost will come in as relief.
Defensive Backs: They sucked dick last season. Let's face it. They will be better this season. Thorpe finally found his true position, I hope.. Demetruce McNeal is a headhunter in the secondary, Jonathan Rose will come in and play as a Freshman, Tsharvan Bell is a very quality CB, and Chris Davis has improved. Erique Florence will also play a lot as a true Freshman. He will provide depth. Get ready to see an improved secondary..
This team will be built for the future after this season.. They will be competing for the SEC West in 2012 and 2013, just not in 2011. We may be young and in-experienced, but we have some serious talent. After this next recruiting class, we will have one of the most talented teams in the nation. War Eagle.

I almost put it as a toss-up, but I like our chances of winning it more than losing it. Plus, I didn't want a lot of toss-ups in the OP. There can only be so many...

We'll see.. He's really athletic for a big guy. He's from Roanoke.

He's got great feet and decent speed for his size, but who knows if he can run the ball against SEC defenses. I like him more at DT
