Just saying, all I hear is how trent is better than ingram. Well show me something? yes I know he is the no. 2 back, but has he really proven that he is yet? there is a reason he was no. 2. not saying he is going to be awful, just get off his jock. I have some cousins who are bama grads, all they talked about in 09' was TR.

What are you opinions on McCalebb? He was the no. 3 guy yet has preformed at least, if not better than TR so far.

ETA: Dyer's freshmen year > TR

Ingram 2010 - 5.54 ypc
Trent 2010 - 6.25 ypc

Ingram had better vision though and was a returning Heisman winner. Tell me any school that will make someone averaging over 5 yds per carry and returning Heisman guy a no. 2 the following yr.

You quoted me, so I assume you're directing this at me, which is a bit confusing.

Where did I say Trent > Ingram? I've always been an Ingram over Trent guy. I don't think the gap is big, but last season and the season before I would take Mark before Trent in pretty much any situation.

Statistically he seems like a solid performer. From what I can remember watching he looks like a solid back too. I'd like you to explain the bold text though. How has he performed better?

Yardage, sure. Points, no.

Put Trent in the same system and situations as Dyer and you think he would've done worse?

We'll see how good Dyer is this year when he doesn't have the benefit of Cam's presence keeping most defenses at bay.
