That's what I was wondering...
If in fact it is Dyer's weapon (or his girl's) is that not, like, aiding and abetting or something?

I know it would be pretty easy to defend against something like this (Dyer can say they came and stole the weapon or something)

They would all have to implicate him. Doubt anything comes of it other than embarrassment for Dyer.

If they can prove he knew the weapon would be used in a crime then sure it is. I doubt they can prove this though or he would have been charged by now (that's assuming it was his gf's gun in the first place).

I expect the extent legal problems for Dyer and/or his gf will depend upon if the DA is a bama grad or an auburn grad.
