With Tom Brady likely under center for the next decade (maybe century with advances in modern medicine) in New England, Mallett's only chance at getting back at the Dolphins might be if he trips a gunner on a punt or tosses a clipboard at a Miami player during team warm ups.

Why is he only mad at Miami? Didnt all 32 teams pass on him, like 8 times each....

Mallett opens his mouth and you see why they passed on him in the first place. What a dumbass.

They took another guy,” Jim Mallett told the Boston Herald. “Ryan said, ‘Payback.’ He remembers it all."
They got all of that out of this?
Sounds like somebody is trying to stretch some quotes to make a story.
I'm in Meth Chef's corner on this one.

Uhhhhhhh, that the reporter is trying to make something out of nothing by writing a 7 paragraph piece from 2 sentences.

Beware the wrath of Ryan. No, not the big loud mouth in New York. The other Ryan. The one that hasn't played an NFL down, missed a meeting with an NFL team because of heavy partying the night before and slipped to the third round of the NFL draft.
Golden Goodness.

You really do not need much more than that quote to assume Ryan wants revenge...Were you looking for more from Mallett???
Good Luck

This.
I don't think the reporter is really digging. And if they put a comment like that out there, the Mallet's can't be too upset that a piece like this was written.
Sounds like the Jets should have picked him up.

Mallet would be a dull gray in a box full of crayola if you know what I mean

Leave it to the SECr to flip this into a negative. Lots of players remember the teams that passed on them. It's not just a football thing.

Well, it looks to me like Ryan was never quoted as saying that, it was more of a paraphrase from Jim.
And the article makes it sound like Mallett vows revenge like he is gonna go into Miami on a shooting spree or something.
IMO he basically meant that he feels he should have been picked up by Miami and wants to become a good enough player to where Miami will regret not picking him. Nothing wrong with that.
I'm no Mallett apologist but I just think this reporter is going a little far in trying to bring the guy down.
