Too bad he didn't stick with his AU commitment. That would have been the 20th investigation of Auburn for the year.

Brooks only became involved in this story after Alabama's day-long investigation turned up nothing. He thought it suspicious and wondered how Alabama could investigate such a matter so quickly. I wonder if the man ever stopped and asked if Alabama's compliance department hadn't already done their homework on the Woodruff-Winston-Calloway triangle?

The key is will the NCAA agree that DW is not a booster. You never know how they will rule.
