Basketball clearly interferes with "the" season. Then gets in the way of recruiting season as well as running into spring training. Therefore, this basketball is clearly useless.

I really, REALLY hope this is sarcasm. I agree he wouldn't have a problem getting in, but it has more to do with on campus stature & potential for future than with the flipping NIT final. It was fun to watch the team continue to play - and they definitely should have been in the real tournament - but no Bama fan should ever get excited about, or accept, the NIT.

There is an article on AL.com with quotes from his dad saying he would be in Tuscaloosa this weekend. I personally feel he fits Anthony Grants style more than he would in Cal or Barbee's dribble drive offense and if early playing time is any factor he would be better off choosing to play for Bama. I won't cry if he does chose Auburn but his minutes are going to be a little less playing behind 2 returning starters and our best 2 players in Frankie Sullivan and Earnest Ross than they would be at Bama.

Yes. He could have finished the year and would have helped us win a few more games but they knew the season was a lost cause and decided to save a year of eligibility.
