He mentioned the HBO special next month. We all know about this. However, he said something along the lines of "one of the focuses of which will be on Auburn including an explosive allegation" (paraphrasing)
I don't think that is Newton related. I doubt it is Sean Nelson related. Any one have an idea or know someone who claims to know?
(I fully expect comments about "bammers wanting it to be something that isn't there", etc from Auburn fans. Before you jump on that predicable train, let me say that I think there would be reason for 11 out of 12 SEC schools to have a cautious eye on the HBO doc. No one is as pure as the driven snow in this conference, but some are much dirtier than others).

IMO most of the college sports world want to hear about the Newton saga more than anything. We aren't some perennial NC contender, so simply us having recruiting violations won't be very flashy for consumption of much of the sports world. They want to see big news about Newton.
On another note, ANY revelations about Auburn will be big news in the Southeast.
