I know the kid has his shortcomings, but I have NEVER, EVER heard a color commentator constantly DOG a basketball player like Jimmy Dykes did tonight. I mean we all know that Sidney isn't in great shape and doesn't play as hard as he can all of the time, but it seemed as if it really got to Jimmy Dykes.
Has anybody ever heard a commentator constantly berate a player like Dykes did towards Sidney tonight?

The kid is probably the laziest BBall player I've ever seen, and he's a pussy. He weighs like 275lbs and backed away from a PG driving. He deserves the criticism.

Yes, but to a certain degree. It's pretty unprofessional if you ask me. He kept going & going with it.

Thats exactly what I am saying.
Class acts like Joe Dean Jr, and Larry Conley have called our games and they mentioned a little about Sidney but NOTHING like Dykes tonight I was like there are 9 other players on the floor talk about them some and quit crying about Sidney.

Hey Al, maybe it will help Sid in staying another year. Lord knows, he isn't ready mentally or physically. When Sid goes back and watches replays & hears Dykes bashing his arse on national tv, it can/should only help for next season.

It is one thing to dog a player who is trying his best but isn't that good. It is completely deserved when a guy gets dogged who has top 10 talent but plays at an average level because he is a lazy fat arse.

JD didn't go overboard at all IMO. He told it just like it needed to be told. Kid a eyesore for the program, and will be for a long time. He is a fat, lazy POS, and maybe someone will play the dogging he got tonight from Jimmy for him.
