I know firsthand some of what Standsbury has done, and I'll just say Jackie Sherrill could learn some things from him.
But most of college basketball is that way. AAU has created just an extremely dirty process all the way around. Boosters of schools can contribute thousands of dollars to AAU programs. Those coaches are working as agents and there is nothing the NCAA can do about it.
9 out of every 10 kids that come out of AAU has been purchased one way or the other. Basketball recruiting has dwarfed college football and its antics the last 10 years.

Only 9 out of 10? I find that hard to believe.
There is a LOT wrong with SEC basketball right now. I wonder if emphasis on doing better in football has taken too much focus off of doing things well in basketball.

Who is your leading candidate in your SPS Stansbury replacement thread?
Personally I like WOJO from Duke, but for some reason yall have Collins instead of him.
My second choice is the coach from Witchata State, Greg Marshall.
I hope we dont settle for a retreaded assistant like Butch Pierre.
