I haven't been following recruiting long, but recruits that are considered a 'lock' don't commit to your team's most bitter rival before choosing Bama on NSD Will they play for Bama, of course, but they sure as hell wasn't 'locks'

FYI, when you're talking about multiple ppl, use "weren't", not "wasn't".

Well, Calloway was committed to Alabama for over a year, before his brief two week flirtation with Auburn. Cyrus' family has no idea of the rivalry, and his brother is only just learning of it.
