LINK

Keep in mind...he was only a 2 star.

He will go down as one of the great Cats to ever suit up for UK.

Just wanted to hear your thoughts on how Phil let him get away.

Not really, would have been cool to see him play here but one player wouldn't have made us great. We were 10-14 in the SEC during his tenure, not like we were one player away. And he was 7-17 with no wins against Tennessee so I'm not too mad.

I would have been pissed if he had beaten Tennessee.

I am not going to lie...I was pissed that Tubby let Lofton get away...

But it was between Rondo or Lofton....so tough call.

Lofton was much better than Rondo in college, second most 3s in NCAA history IIRC. Kid was a baller.

And I'm not trying to dog Cobb, he's a helluva player, but it would have stung a lot more if he had beaten us. I thought he probably would be on the team to do it in the back of my mind.

Nope. Wide Reciever has not been our problem in the last few years.

Cobb's best move was choosing UK over UT....he saw a ton of playing time and at UT he probably would had been on the bench.

I think Brooks did awesome finding kids under the radar....Lindley was a 2 star as well.

I kind of miss Grandpa...still will give Joker some time before I jump ship.

I wish him well. glad he's gonna get paiiiid.
we had holes all over the depth chart anyways. one offensive player can't fix that. he could have won us some extra games though.

Our WR corps in 08 and 09 would have been much better with Cobb. This year's group was much improved however with the improvement of Jones and Moore and the additions of Hunter and Rogers.

He is a heck of a player. Glad we won't be facing him anymore

There's a lot of things to blame Fat Phil for. It would have been good to have him, though.
