Here in Birmingham it has been sleeting for four hours. Everything is coated in an ice/snow/slush mix. Hopefully, it will stay warm enough not to freeze it solid. It is supposed to keep coming for eight hours or so. We will see.

I'm in Bham. It's really coming down now. Lots of snow and sleet covering the roads. The police are out in full force closing the roads. I decided the best course of action was to stay inside and drink a few beers to keep the cold away.

It just hit here in huntsville an hour or so ago. It's a mixture of sleet and snow and it's coming down pretty hard now. The ground is starting to turn white and I would imagine the roads are going to be getting bad pretty quick with the sleet.

I live on Sand Mountain and it's about 3 inches deep and the roads are white. I'm hunkered down and ready. Made my milk and bread run yesterday.

Guntersville and Georgia mountain = heavy snow, about an inch so far. Pulled in the kerosene heater just in case. Made the beer, bread, batteries, milk, and cigs run earlier. No bread or milk in the stores so I just bought more beer.

Down here in souf alabama (dothan)it is a nice cool 37 wif not shite but a little rain..should be nice blue skies tomorrow and all systems go...
