I guess Tarkenton won't be getting a Christmas card from Richt this year. Damn, that was scorching, but the fact is Georgia should be a perennial national powerhouse with consistent top 5 recruiting classes, and going toe to toe with UF every year.

Hilarious, really.
"Do you know the religion of Nick Saban? Gus Malzahn? Chip Kelly, playing fot the national championship?"
Ol' Fran's fired up.
ETA: love how he asked about Malzahn and not Chizik. . .

If Fran really cared about UGA he would put his checkbook where his mouth is...but he doesn't. He is pseudo-Georgia fan.

I understand that. Sorry, I meant to question Fran's usage, not the term itself.
I'd say Richt is probably the real deal from everything I hear.
Fran on the other hand is a pompous blowhard, who as was pointed out above is a pseudo Georgia fan. He is such a poor ambassador, people don't even know he went there.

I didn't. I am 43 years old and had no idea until listening to that interview that he went to Georgia.

Maybe, maybe not. But, it would benefit Georgia in the long run to do what he's suggesting.
