Sort of like how you can't make the argument that Auburn would not have success late against Alabama because they had none early? There is no way of knowing how a game will continue to go.
And yes, Texas had a better shot with McCoy of course. But at the same time, Saban would not have gone ultra conservative if McCoy was in the game either.

not talking to just you..joeyb..just you was the last one to say anything..Listen people..i am one of the biggest longhorns fans you will ever meet..point being..even if colt mccoy plays in that game, we still lose by 4-7...it would have made for a more exciting game..but alabama's defense was cranked up another knotch that night..put that with we had ABSOLUTELY NO RUNNING GAME..PERIOD..all we had is colt and jordan shipley..and even if we keep it close, it was clear that saban took his foot off the gas..we wouldve got hammered on the ground..ingram and trich wouldve ate us up on the ground..so i dont think we wouldve gotten close to the crimson tide..we were fricked either way..mad props to that alabama team..but damn it..i like to believe we will meet again..
