I don't buy this theory that the ratings for the BCS championship will plummet simply because it's two teams that aren't necessarily "elite".

It will get really high ratings. To think otherwise is fukin stupid.

It's not like an SEC is breaking the back of another OSU team as they grudge fuk 'em in the NC game.

If they'd liked watching Florida, they would've turned it off by halftime. Bama is the key for good ratings, tradition and success. Auburn couldn't even get the number 1 game of the year without Bamas help. In fact, Auburn can't even win a national championship without Bama handing them a game. And before anybody tries to compare last years game, theres a difference. Bama gave a game away with 3 turnovers when they shouldve had a 42-0 lead. Last year in Lee County, Bama shut Aubarn down after giving up a 14-0 lead. Hence, Auburn needs Bama to choke to win a NC

These ratings will suck. ive seen several on here who "refuse to watch the game"

People all around the nation just arent as interested in auburn and oregon........hell bama and UCONN in the natty would get better ratings....why? cause we are bama

Ratings will be huge. Most exciting player in football...

The only issue is that people may already be writing us off as clear winners, whereas last year it was a toss up. Thank God for Colt's shoulder or the SEC would have lost last year.

The thing that makes me the most happy about this whole post is that you actually believe what you just wrote. You are the epitome of a bama fan.

No, I think people will be interested to see if Auburn loses the NC on Jan 10 or in 2012.
