Florida. That's gotta be some sort of record. Does anyone know where to look up something like that? I just can't imagine any team in history playing more games than that in their home state.

Other than maybe a bowl game, I don't think they've left the state for an OOC game since the 90's

don't know why you're so defensive, I wasn't really making a point or trying to slight florida. Just making an observation.

The Lizards use the excuse that the FSU game + neutral site game vs UGa + the SEC makes their schedule too tough to play tough OOC games (much less on the road). Doesn't seem to stop UGa from going outside the southeast and they face the same situation (with Ga Tech).

we won tMNC 2 out of 3 years (2006-2008), the dawgs ain't won shite (nationally) since 1980 and just lost to colorado this year. why would we copy their method? if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

I've never had that conversation before, I was just surprised that it was 10/13. That struck me as an unusually high number.

If I were a Gator fan, I would like to see my team play a big OOC game out of state home and home or at a neutral site. Who wouldn't want to see Florida take on Michigan, Nebraska, etc...

I wouldn't. I'm tired of it. In the last few years I've gone to Tempe, Stillwater, and Boulder to see Georgia play. Yeah it was fun, got some nice pictures, but I'd much rather play podunk state in Athens, get the easy win, and sleep that night in my bed. Not to mention save some coin.
