I feel that. It's hard for a coach to stay someplace for any length of time.

I am happy for R Kansas..but some of your fans make it really difficult to pull for you.

You're not over here enough to distinguish between the flames and the real posts. No one takes Hawgalude seriously. Sometimes Woopiginaustin is serious, sometimes he's flaming to stir the pot. So are several others. The bigger the reaction, the more they love it. It's kinda funny.

I've never noticed any Hog fans asking for more fans to jump on our bandwagon.

Continue to hate, does not bother any of us.

Last week a source claimed there was a 7 year extension on the table with a $6 million mutual buyout (suggested by Petrino to demonstrate his commitment).

Must be the same deal.

Anybody in NWA needs to watch the KNWA 10 o'clock news coming up in 4 minutes.

Supposedly 7 years starting at $3.6 mil without incentives and increasing each year with mutual $6 mil buyout.

Some of our fans make it hard for me to pull for us.

LSU's got it's quota as well, though.

That's the point. So many of my fellow hog fans get upset if someone doesn't give them respect or recognition. My reply (which I'm often criticized for) is win the games and you'll get both respect and recognition. Just win the fricken games. Don't throw the game away in the 4th QTR, etc......

I will be prepared. I've seen it here from LSU fans first hand. The rant has famous meltdowns.

Depends on who you're talking too. I know it's very hard to stay at the top. I remember successful Arkansas programs. Football, Basketball and track. Another example is baseball, we have a great coach but it's still hard to be at the top year after year.

The best you can hope for is to compete for titles every year. Even 'Bama and Florida had down years this year. They still were in the hunt and will be every year, same for LSU.

Can't compete yearly till you do it once. This year is great and should be enjoyed but we're not back to where we were in the 60's and 70's till we compete just about every year.

I have no problem with the razzing, it's a compliment. You don't rag on the 1-7 teams.....well not as much anyway

We've been to the World Series a few times but never brought it all home. I wasn't implying that we're a top program but that even with the right coach and facilities it's still very difficult to be the best.

i think you guys will win an SEC title with Petrino.. but the bar is set a little higher for SEC teams right now.. looking at 5 straight national titles..

I agree. Win the SEC and there is a very good chance you will be playing for the National Championship.
