Btw, interesting question. IF Petrino was to leave, would the fan base accept Rich Rodriguez for dirt cheap prices if he's fired by Michigan?

I would prefer to go after a coach who uses a pro style offense and defense vs the highschool spread option.

The personnel on the hill is better suited for this style, other wise Michigan like struggles would almost be guaranteed.

Personally, I don't care about the style of offense, as long as it's successful. Urban Meyer ran a spread option, as does Chip Kelly, and they're both fantastic coaches.

Rich Rod was a good coach when he was at WVU. However, I'm unsure whether the majority of that success was due to Pat White and/or Steve Slaton. Nevertheless, interesting thing to mull over.

What other coaching options are there [relatively big name guys I mean]? Just trying to think of a list...Mike Leach, Randy Shannon, Mike Gundy, Tommy Tuberville, Kyle Whittingham, Gary Patterson, etc.
