Believe what you want to believe, but Les Miles has slain the dreaded negatiger, calmed the chicken littles, and won over the formerly hostile press.
There is no one so strong as he who has not only won, but done it his way, despite everyone telling him he's wrong, he's a fool, and he lacks an internal clock.
Miles is completely unchallenged in the state of Louisiana, and throughout Tiger Nation.
If you want a precedent, look back to Tubbs going undefeated after Lowder's secret meeting with Petrino got exposed. Tubbs had Auburn by the balls then.
Miles winning ten games without a QB, and in the process beating Meyer, Saban, and Nutt in the same season has left him untouchable. By anyone.
And it's not just winning, it's about winning with trick plays, a humongous pair of balls, and eating grass on national TV.
Les Miles is now president-for-life, generalissimo, supreme ruler of all he sees.
Louisiana is his world, and everyone else is just renting space in it.
