What about all the other big games Mallett played in this year?
Texas A&M: 27/38 310 yds 3 TDs 1 int
@South Carolina: 21/30 303 yds 1 TD 1 int
@Miss State: 17/26 305 yds 3 TDs 1 int

Those stats don't fit with his arguement so they obviously aren't legit.

Or stupid. You know every LSU fan would forgo corndogs for an entire year if you could have Mallett.

Meh, obviously I'd take him over either of LSU's qbs. That doesn't mean I have to believe that he's worthy of the hype he's gotten. The blatant idiocy on here is amusing.

None of those games are really comparable for pressure purposes, which is why I said highly ranked SEC teams. Texas A&M is a sad attempt at a "big game" also. They haven't been relevant for years.

He's 4th in the country in passing efficiency. You're right, the idiocy on here IS amazing, dipshit.

May not have been relevant in recent years but A&M is a top 15 team this year....

Are you really an idiot, or do you just play one on this board?
All 3 of those teams brought pressure at Mallett and sacked him multiple times. It did not matter, he still completed at a high pct. and got his yards.
I suppose aTm is still not relevant even after beating a top 10 Nebraska team this past weekend.
What a moron.

They also have the 97th ranked pass defense.

You didn't even understand my post. I love having my intelligence attacked by someone who can't even read and comprehend my post properly.

pulled the rankings for the pass offenses LSU has faced:
*1st # is ranking in passisng offense, 2nd # is ranking in total offense*
UNC - 25/60
@Vandy - 112/111
MSU - 102/57
WVU - 85/93
Tenn - 45/72
@Florida - 66/71
@Auburn - 70/5
Bama - 35/25
Ole Miss - 83/38
Against there 3 highest offensive ranking opponents (@ #5 Auburn & #25 Bama @ home. #38 Ole Miss @ home), they gave up an average of 440.3 yards per game.
Arkansas is ranked 3rd in the nation in passing offense and 8 in total offense.

ATM is only winning due to a change at QB. You likely lose that game if you faced that guy as well.

Now that is a legitimate, substantive response. LSU will have to play better defense against Arkansas then they did against Alabama. Mallet will need to play better than he has in the past against strong defenses. I wish your fellow hog fans would actually debate instead of attacking.

And you likely lose to North Carolina if they had their first team in the game.

I don't care to debate with an LSU fan who says that Mallett is "unimpressive."

Arkansas has one of the top offenses in the nation when facing ranked teams. Period
Arkansas ranks #4 in the nation on offense when playing ranked opponents. Arkansas has played 5 ranked teams this year, LSU will be the 6th. Big game, highly ranked letdowns my arse
LINK
On the flip side, it looks like LSU has padded its defensive stats against unranked competition. The Arkansas defense sits at #30 in the nation against 5 ranked opponents, while LSU sits at a much lower than normal #18, giving up nearly 400 yards per game.
LINK
now, explain that to me please
