SMU the SWC and auburn

Everyone is waiting for the hammer to drop on auburn. Some are happy, so might masterbate if cam gets ruled ineligible. Some are so excited, they shiver at the anticipation of auburn getting sanctions or even better yet the "Death Penalty".
Let us not forget SMU when they got the death penalty. It was so harsh it ended up disbanding the SWC, just to get away from the negative image.
Now, if half of what we here is true and it could be at more then one place, then the outcomes could be disastrous. I won't get into even trying to connect the dots, but be rest assured there is sure to be a "DOT" over every sec school in one way or another, or every school in the ncaa for that matter.
Our problem is the sec is considered by just about everyone to be the best conference, and has wiped the floor with everyone for almost a decade. I just can't shake the feeling that one day everyone else in the country will turn around and say "told you so".
We all want to win. WIn at all cost. it's naive to think that this stuff only go's on at auburn. Our mantra and everyone else's is "just win". We don't care how, put the most talented players on the field, pay your coach 4 mil and you better win.
like jessie palmer said, "there are alot of glass houses down there".
AU is a fine football team, i honestly think some people are jealous or just want them gone so we don't have to deal with it in the future. If they are caught, then yes, they should be punished. But none of us should sit here and think this is good. Especially seeing how big the scope of this might be.
i am not saying everyone is viewing the situation like this, but i will admit that I myself was giddy about it for awhile. But the allegations that are being put forth make smu look like daycare.
And none of us should be happy about that. This is our heritage, our place and our freedom. I would hate to see how much it really means to me if it gets taken away.
flame away.

some houses are made of a little more glass. like auburn's and probably alabama. bama has been doing it for much longer, so they're better at hiding it. auburn just isn't as good as doing it as them.
these types of issues is why im glad we have les miles. as questionable as some of his decisions are, i can sleep easy at nite knowing we won't have to mess with this crap at lsu.

I agree to an extent to wt you are saying. If Auburn in found guilty I believe they will get more than just a slap on the wrist. If it is to big it could very well cause problems to the whole conference. It's kinda like the old saying one bad apple spoils the whole bunch... Its going to be real interesting to see how this whole thing plays out. If this turns out bad which I think it will, it has effected the whole college scene. The rankings would be would be completely different in conference and nationally. LSU would probably be number 1 or 2 in the nation.
All Auburn fans are being selfish and pretty much saying fuk the world.

SMU did not kill the SW conference, Arkansas did. the conference was doomed because all of the schools were texas based and arky was treated like the red headed step child. when they left, all of the remaining schools except texas and texas a&m were losers financially. those two got tired of sharing tv revenues and bowl revenues with a bunch of losers that never contributed to the pot.
