Mississippi State looking at expanding their stadium

Every home game this season has been sold out, and there is beginning to be a lot of talk about extanding Davis Wade Stadium. Here is one guy's take on what it is going to look like in the near future. What are your thoughts?

Good question. It seems close to capacity when I've been.
Visitor side needs elevators..those stairs are a killer..I worry for Ruffin Rodrique's knees and hips.

It will be a drawn out step by step approach it wont be a project where we add 15K seats.
They will gradually build bit by bit in hopes with our growing alumni base (most of whom live within a 5 hour drive from Starkville) will become season ticket holders.

looks to me like they it wouldn't be adding many seats, mainly offices and a food court type deal?

It would add between 5-7.5K seats

NO, those seats will be located to the left and right of the scoreboard, and will be the cheap seats (b/c they wont be able to see the jumbotron)

This needs to be done. i'm embarrassed my team has to play in your current stadium. To me its the equivalent of having to go play a rent a win at their place.

Couldn't even scrape up $180k for Cam - where's the expansion money coming from?

This will look bad-arse if it actually gets done. Is the demand there? That is definitely more than 5-7,000 extra seats.
