The vast majority of LSU fans do not consider you our rival. A VERY small percentage does either because they are old as shite and remember the 60's or because they are from Mississippi/had some terrible experience in Oxford.

We care about Ole Miss, because we play them every freaking year. Just like we care about Florida, Miss. State, Arkansas, etc. I don't see why this is hard to understand..

This. I was always genuinely surprised at the level of hate and vitriol spewing from the mouths of Rebel fans when I was at LSU. I'd look at my buddies and we'd all just shake our heads.

young lsu fans may not consider ole miss a rival but they are. to many alabama, florida, auburn or better rivals that is because they've won. honestly many young fans gave e shits about alabama prior to saban heading there. they also believe florida is a rival and that is because of the fact lsu plays them yearly and hate fans had for spurrier. auburn to me would be our best rival even though their rival is alabama. lsu and auburn have had more memorable games in my lifetime than the rest.
