Saban went ballistic last night when his back up qb made a mistake. At the end it looked like he hit him. This should be a great recruiting tool for LSU. Thanks Nick. Could someone put a link to this? I think the NCAA should investigate this incident.

Wonder if he put him in time out and took away his PSP for a week?? Jeez!!! I am a teacher and if I just did what he did I would be unemployed and my face would be plaster all over the front page of newspapers.....teacher strikes student!!!! Mike Leach lost his job for put a player in a "closet"....Nicky spanks a player in front of God and everybody and that's just Nicky. LOL!!! He's gonna have a heartattack on the sidelines one day!!! Stress level is ridiculous!!!

was on ESPN this morning.

kid thru it up in the endzone for an easy pic, off of his back foot falling away.

it wasn't a pic

Nick shows the most anger when his team is winning.

Everything he does is calculated.

He did hit him and that should not be! There is not a Coach anywhere that has the right to hit any player no matter what or what for! That should have been shown over and over so that other kid's can see what they will face if they should decide to play for Saban.

That's the equivalent of a 3 year old hitting his father, and it looked like it, too.

Good grief what a bunch of pansies.

It's Division 1 football, not tiddlywinks!

Yep, Saban slapping a football player on the butt while in uniform is going to hurt the poor kid.

If recruits can't take getting chewed out and a slap on the arse, Bama don't want them.

fwiw- Even though Saban looks like he put all he had into it, it didn't even look like McCarron knew that he did it.

Dude, it's a contact sport. Just so long as he's not punching him in the face it shouldnt be a big deal.

No players would complain about it. I wouldn't. They're not 10 yr old girls they know what they are supposed to do.

Kids today are pussies. If you can't take a slap on the arse you need to play somewhere besides Alabama.

He is getting his team ready and it is time they pull their head out of their arse. I was glad to see him finally show wome emotion, that is the first time he has down it all year.

I will say this... I wish there was a coach on the HOME sidelines at the Swamp, who would get this fired up about SOMETHING. Nick Saban is a perfectionist, and it doesn't matter if he is winning 100-0, he expects perfection. It must be nice to have a coach who still cares. Any flack that is... given to Saban over "spanking" AJ, is retarded. This is Division I football and the SEC. You don't like it, quit watching and buying tickets. I only wish that Urban Meyer would get fired up again.
