This should be something you recognize since it hits real close to home for LSU.. Copied this directly from a quote about UNC.. This is a NCAA ruling.
Six additional Tar Heels were held out of the game, and did not make the trip, as UNC officials continue to gather more information to determine whether they should be declared ineligible. They are: tailbacks Shaun Draughn and Ryan Houston; safeties Brian Gupton, Da’Norris Seacy and Jonathan Smith; and defensive end Linwan Euwell.
At least half of the 13 players – including Austin, McAdoo, Brown, Quinn, Draughn and Gupton – were in the stands for Saturday’s game at the Chick-fil-A Kickoff in Atlanta.
The players were not allowed to travel with the team, and senior associate athletics director Larry Gallo told them that if they chose to attend the game on their own, they would have to pay for their own travel and expenses. The school provided their tickets to the game, which is permissible for ineligible/withheld players under NCAA guidelines, Gallo said in an e-mail

You think they might have wanted to dress 13 other players in their place, since there are travel restrictions for football teams?

By the way, I have been posting here on this site for years.. For some reason, I could not get my id to work this year before the LSU vs AU game so I created a new id.. Bu that is fine, keep giving me shite because I look like a new poster..low post count.. as if that is meaningful..
I guess that gives me less credibility than Kenny Rogers who has changed his story 3 times in last week yet his is credible now.. with his latest story..

This is a home game for auburn...what traveling will auburn be doing? And no, the bus from the hotel to the stadium doesn't count.

Well, I guess this means Auburn just committed another violation by letting him ride on a bus.
Keep up the good work.

Please learn to understand the issues.
Of course the NCAA has not ruled yet. The darn investigation started a little over a week ago.
He will be eligible until they have finished their investigation into the matter.
The whole issue is whether Auburn would play him knowing that at a later date, he may be ruled ineligible.
So the bus ride is meaningless since the NCAA has not finished their investigation.
It does not indicate he will play tomorrow since he IS eligible. That simply is not the issue at this point.

That's kind of like the female bar owner after the UT players beat up the off duty cop, she gets on TV and says she gives players discounts and free drinks and she supports UT football!

Are you playing in Athens tomorrow?

Also, all of the UNC players weren't ineligible at that time either.
You fail on multiple accounts, congrats
