He knows how to build team chemistry and get a team together I will give him that. With top assistants I think Chizik can keep things going.

But he is a defensive mind. Is it so much as personnel with this team or is it Malzahn's style of play that puts the defense in a bind?

well he owe's newton half his paycheck. That defense sucks and newton is the engine behind the chiz.
So how much is newton making again? Oh, nothing. But the "CHIZ" will get a raise out of this i am sure when the season is over. Without newton he would be like meyer without tebow.

Its a big part of the personnel. We give up so many passing yards because we dont have any good corners so he has them playing 7-10 yards off the WR. Our rush defense is top 20 in the country, in comparison to that bullshite run d we fielded last year I am very very happy.

I would like to see that guys reaction now myself, an undeafeated Auburn team. Time for Auburn fans to stop talking about bandwagon fans from other teams and go find those guys. I actually respect some Auburn fans to an extent, now go chastize your own fans for a change.

It is a lot more than that. Chiz knows what it takes to win at AU. He understands AU and it comes across well with recruits. He obviously can put together one hell of a staff. He had a plan from day one and is hungry.
And to the arse clown yapping about it all being Newton, Malzhan took a qb that was a JUCO guy that would probably not start for any team in the SEC but Vandy and broke multiple AU offensive records after inheriting one of the worst offenses in the entire country last year. Chris Todd had zero mobility and a noodle arm that could barely throw it 40 yards, yet he set the school record for single season passing TDs. So, yeah, Cam kicks arse, but a LOT of it has to do with Malzahn putting him in the right situation to succeed. I would bet that Cam would not have anywhere near the stats he has at any other school in the SEC. Second best would be UF, but Gus's offense >>>>>>>> Meyer's all else being equal.

I think both of those are reason the D is suffering...our Rush D is fine...but the secondary sucks pretty bad...due to personnel/depth...Malzahn's offense being so fast paced doesn't help either...the D is on the field an awful lot...
