what's the better place/atmosphere to watch a college football game, in your opinion?

I've never had the opportunity to attend a game in JHS, but I'd like to someday.

JHS is one of my favorite places to catch a game. they have a great crowd and makes for a great atmosphere.

honestly my top 3 best atmospheres are tiger stadium, JHS and the swamp in no order.

My dad said after visiting the Death Star this past weekend that JH and TS were both noticeably louder.

Homers are probably going to come out of the woodwork on this one... But, I'd have to say JH is surprisingly impressive. I've been to every LSU game there this decade (including this weekend) and I am always impressed by the noise level and the venue isn't bad.

Of course I am partial to TS...

I like both, but I'm going with Tiger Stadium because there's no place like it in the world.

I've never been so Im asking out of ignorance, but how is JHS so loud? Do yall have great fans that never sit down? Does the stadium build hold in noise better than others? I ask because more than half the times I see your stadium on TV its not full.

it's surprising that there are people who actually think there is a comparison. i was at jordan hare in '08 for the lsu game and both teams were ranked in the top 10. it was a huge game and it was loud. however, it wasn't even close, nowhere near as loud as the loudest games in tiger stadium, of which there have been quite a few this past decade.

lsu at florida in '08 was also very loud.

the only crowd that i thought rivaled lsu was lsu at bama '09 and i've been to every sec stadium at least once except for fayetteville and columbia. bryant denny was the best in game atmosphere outside of tiger stadium i've experienced.

i went to the lsu game in seattle last year and washington is loud for the west coast but nothing compared to sec crowds.

Jerden Hair is NOT louder than TS. Let's see, wild crazy Cajuns, loud, lusty, bourbon-infused screaming, versus, high-pitched screeching, pom pom waving men. Not even close.

I like Tiger Stadium solely because you can get drunk and ride the escalators .... up.

Walking to the top of JHS is a VERY sobering trip.

I've been to both venues multiple times. I think TS is louder. I've also been to BDS many times (not this weekend). Unless BDS is a lot louder now with the expansion, both JHS and TS are louder than BDS.

Tiger Stadium is one of my favorite venues in all of college football (especially when OM wins)

You will get a bunch of Homer respones. I can say being a LSU fan, I think the eagle coming down at mid-field at the start of a Auburn home game is badass. Rating the loudness of a Stadium it is hard to do. Loud is Loud but I do love Tiger Stadium when it is packed and crazy.
