I'm not sure you can say that given how bad the Arkansas running game is.

I disagree because they make up for it with their great pass protection. Arkansas' OL is the best in the SEC at protecting the passer IMO.

Statistically, Bama has the worst D line in the SEC.

Going off what we saw last year I'd call that even, otherwise agree.

While Alabama's front seven hasn't produced the sack and TFLs I would have thought they would have, Arkansas' OL hasn't faced a front seven this good as of yet. TTU and ULM are what they are. Georgia is in a transition, going to the 3-4. As Alabama fans, we know what that season can be like on defense (thinking back to 2007), especially if you don't have the NG.

i'll eat some major crow if Arkansas pulls this thing off but i just don't see it. IMO Saban pulls out every blitz he has and gets mallett rattled. and I think Bama can put up alot of poins in this game. again this is just my opinion.

Mark Ingram and Trent Richardson at RB vs any LBing core is an adv for us IMO.

There's more than one way to affect the QB. We have plenty of QB pressures. Sacks are not everything. As great as our DL was in 2008 and 2009, we were middle of pack in the SEC, in terms of sacks.

They are a hair above average at protecting the passer according to the stats.

Alright, but our same D-Line and LB corp held bama to ~130 yards rushing last year, which I'd call a push

And they rushed for over 200 yards against the top two ranked run defenses in 2009 (Florida and Texas).

That doesn't make us the worst D line in the SEC. The 3-4 is never going to rack up sacks anyways. They're above average in run support and can mess with the QB regardless if they sack him or not.

You're really going to call Mark Ingram and Trent Richardson vs Arkansas defense a push? Going by your logic don't even show up to the game because we're going to win 35-7.

:CSB:

We passed for like 5000 yards against Kine's D at aTm.
