My boy got a int in each game now and a sack. He had somewhat of a fumble return also. Props to him for redshirting and waiting his chance. My other homeboys Julio and DJ are doing okay also.
Gumps still suck.

He's missing too many tackles though. Hopefully, he'll improve on that as the season goes on.

I hate the Tide. I just admire former players of mine who do well after they leave. One day one of them will come and repay me once they hit the NFL

Lets face it, all kids make poor choices at one point or another. My kids just chose a crappy school with a cheating program.

I think he's going to be a good playmaker for us, but he's missed quite a few tackles. He's young and he'll get better though.

He played a reall good game last night. Last nights game may have the been the best game I have ever been to at BDS. The whole Coach Paterno thing was about as good as it gets.

Can you elaborate a little more. How can that be the best game you have ever been to?

Just for me it was one of the best and I am not really talking about from a football perspective but the entire atmosphere. I grew up watching Coach Bryant when I was a kid and there was something cool about being in BDS last night that took me back a little.
I sat there looking at those two old uniforms that haven't changed much at all in 50 years and there was just something special about having Coach Paterno in the stadium.
There was one moment at half time and it was one of those, "had to be there" moments.
At halftime the teams left the field and the band was preparing to take the field. Coach Paterno was being interviewed on the PS sidelines. After the interview he cut across the field to go to the locker room and the camera zoomed in and put his face on all four jumbotrons. The crowd went crazy cheering for him and he realized what was happening. He got a little burts of energy like he was thirty and jogged for about 10 yards and stopped. He looked up to the Alabama fans and fist pumped to show appreciation...
It may not mean anything to some people but it meant a lot to me. Coach Paterno is a legend and I got to see him in BDS last night walking the sidelines.
