Found this on the OT earlier and it was to amusing not to post here...Funny thing is, we knew this guy and his family for 7 or so years before they moved.

LSU grad "becomes" big Tide fan

Unforgivable sin! Bama fans, beware! He is an LSU grad, a cajun and might turn on you if LSU has a good year!

ETA: He is a good guy and plus you up in Tuscaloosa should be thrilled to be getting a dentist, right? Lol. I kid.

As I said in the OT thread:

He and his family may be good people but there is something wrong with this picture. I'm assuming he wasnt a huge Tiger fan to begin with. No way a truly passionate fan turns coat like that.

People are different I guess.

He actually was a really big tiger fan. Wasn't the kind that could name every player I admit, but he loved LSU(we lived next door practically).

I just never saw this coming. It is sickening lol

Don't you think part of it is business-related? What better way to get clients than say your an Alabama fan? But to do so simply means that you never were a die-hard LSU fan.

This is what I'm thinking...his office is in Tuscaloosa for goodness sake. He's pragmatic...

Very good point. The season tickets thing was smart, though i still wouldn't have done it

It does make good business sense, but that's no excuse for his kid to swap his LSU golf bag for a Bama one or that gigantic helmet painting in his office.

"80% of every structure in Pass Christian was gone"

Hmm. That's a very precise storm that could damage each of a town's structures to an exact percent.

Yep, sounds like the guy loves money more than LSU.

Maybe he can be a fan of one without hating the other, he just enjoys the game

Listen kid, there is no place for any crap about a storm that caused the destruction of people, the lives and futures of many others, and tremendous destruction of property.

I've met him and heard him explain it. I still don't understand it and could never do it myself. I almost feel like it was Saban that converted him. He's a huge Saban fan. He'd probably be fan of whatever school Saban was coaching for. But he is a great guy. He still loves LSU when they don't play Alabama.
