has been named Alabamas #1 kick returner this season.Does anyone think this is taking a huge chance on getting him injured?

doubt it, good move though putting the ball in the hands of your playmakers

Good move imo....I'm all for putting your best players as kick returners. Patrick Peterson is returning kicks for LSU, which I think is a great move.

No more so than him running the ball regular. Most people who get hurt on kick returns are "the other guys" blockers, gunners, etc

No, Darren McFadden and Felix Jones were our KR guys while they were here. Dennis Johnson is our KR now. TR has the size and skills to avoid getting himself hurt...

Cadillac did in 2004 and led the league in yards. I think it is a great move. Richardson is good, and who is going to hurt that ball of muscle?

Julio is probably the #1 punt returner...THAT is insane to me. Its gonna be like we're living in Fumbleville...

Julio fumbles?

If you drop a punt like he drops passes, it will be a fumble, correct? THAT is why it will be like living in Fumbleville...

I think it's probably a little different when you're running down field and catching a ball that you don't see until you turn the opposite way and look as opposed to seeing it in the air the entire time ball is in play. I don't think he's had problems fielding punts and kickoffs in the past.

Not really. I'm a big fan of using starting skill position players on ST, but God forbid he does get hurt, it isn't like we don't have a Heisman winner left to pick up the slack.

don't forget about the opposing team running full speed at you, trying to make a highlight of you while you are concentrating on the football.

i don't know about him getting injured i just think it's a mistake for another reason. he doesn't strike me as the elusive make the first guy miss type..maybe they are thinking the first gunner will just bounce off of him

He's got a pretty wicked juke. I think he perfers to run people over though.
