When is the next time Tennessee wins the east?

3/4 years? in the dooley era? a decade? after urban retires and richt is toast? anyone care? Just wondering when people think tennessee will return to form.

They could do it this year. Not as likely as UF, but not that less likely either.

convincingly win the east and dominate? it'll take a while or it might not happen at all(depending on how good Dooley is).
get beat by UF, UGA beats UF, we beat UGA and backdoor our way in to SECCG like in '07? it could happen as soon as we fill the needed positions in our depth chart.

They've been averaging winning the East every 3.6 years since the inception of the divisions. The last time they went was in 2007.
That means they will make it, rounding up, in 2011.

Sometime in the next 5 years. Hopefully we will be competing for the SEC Championship by then and not just the division.
