in a way, that's what Kiffin forces you to do. he gives you two options:
A. Believe in me and the program i'm about to build for you....

B. See me for exactly what you fear me to be... which is the truth.
fans had no choice. it sucks for y'all. but after the fulmer/Bama fiasco, your program reaped what it deserved on that one.
