Do the Vols continue their absurd winning streak over the Cats? Or do Joker and UK beat Dooley in Knoxville?
I predict Kentucky, and I think they're gonna make a little noise in the East this year if Morgan Newton takes over the reins

There are 44 year olds who haven't seen a win since their teens. Every year since our decline started around 2002, people have been predicting a loss. Each year Tennessee wins.

and i would probably be remiss in my duties as an SECrant poster to NOT point out the fact that you are probably a little nervous still about that streak until your recruiting really picks up.

gotta pull for the Cats on that one.

I will say this. If Cobb/Joker can't beat us these next few years, with the way we are recruiting, I do not forsee an end to the streak.

This is our year. Joker brings home the win.

UK beats UT for their 8th win and goes to the Outback Bowl.
Start out 3-0, upset Ole Miss, win their final 4.
Get clownstomped by Penn State in Tampa.

While it's difficult to acknowledge the "streak", it would be remiss not to mention that it is more times than not a really competitive game, despite them clearly having the better talent/pedigree etc...
Mentionables..
1987: #15 Tennessee 24 - Kentucky 22 (Lexington)
1988: Tennessee 28 - Kentucky 24 (Knoxville)
1995: #4 Tennessee 34 - Kentucky 31 (Lexington)
2001: #6 Tennessee 38 - Kentucky 35 (Lexington)
2004: #15 Tennessee 37 - Kentucky 31 (Knoxville)
2006: #19 Tennessee 17 - Kentucky 12 (Knoxville)
2007: #19 Tennessee 52 - Kentucky 50 (4 OT) (Lexington)
------------------------------------------------
Kentucky - 24
UT - 23
Lonas Sieber field goal at end of regulation after Randall Cobb 4th down conversion.

I am new to the rant but its humorous to me that you just assume that KY will beat Ole Miss. Clearly Im an ole miss guy but if you would clarify WHY you think thats gonna happen I would be interested to hear it. I could assume auburn wont play better defense this year but I dont know enough about them just yet to comment. Not a flame just think its easy to say things off the fly without explaining the reasoning .
On a side note, Im excited to join and look forward to hearing opinions on the best, still intact conference in the country.

I remember the 2007 game. It was awesome! I believe that was the year if UT won they were in the SEC championship and if they lost UGA was going. The blocked punt was EPIC after the Tennessee turn over in OT.
I don't see UK pulling it off. Tennessee ALWAYS finds a way to beat them.
If UK does, they'll have to send out a search party to find that ole beer barrell they used to fight over. It's been collecting dust in Knoxville for a quarter century now.

I really think it depends on how each of these two schools' seasons are going up to the point when they play. I think that whoever comes in with the most momentum/better record will win this game. And just sticking with history I'll go with Tennessee.

I did call it an upset you fricking noob piece of shite!!
Ole Miss does not look too interesting this year and I think UK has the offense to win some games.

Kind of specific.
I'd go with the.. there are UK fans who have been born, attended UK, graduated UK + 2-3 more years and still have never seen UK beat the Vols.
